Training courses were organized for employees of the fumigation departments of the territorial departments of the Plant Quarantine and Protection Agency

Scientists from the Scientific Research Institute of Plant Quarantine and Protection and its regional branches are conducting on-site training seminars on quality treatment of cotton seeds planned for the 2023 season. On February 22 of this year, a seminar was held by scientific staff from the Andijan regional branch of the Scientific Research Institute of Plant Quarantine and Protection at the Altynkul seed workshop of Andijan Cotton Seed Production LLC, which is responsible for the supply of seeds to the Ulugnor district. During the seminar, they gave their recommendations to responsible employees, farm and agrocluster employees on the importance of seed treatment and the proper organization of work.
This stage is considered important in achieving high efficiency in the region and obtaining high cotton yields, and special attention was paid to the requirements for high-quality seed treatment, types of treatment preparations, consumption rates and requirements.
As the current season's cotton planting processes are approaching, intensive work is also being organized in areas such as salt leaching, land cultivation, land reclamation, fertilization, and anticipating pest control measures.
