An expanded meeting was held at the Plant Quarantine and Protection Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan on combating corruption in the system and preventing and preventing corruption offenses by employees.

The meeting, chaired by the Director of the Plant Quarantine and Protection Agency I. Ergashev, was attended by deputy directors, responsible employees of the Central Office, as well as heads and employees of all system organizations and territorial departments of the Agency, as well as representatives of prosecutor's offices via the "ZOOM" platform.

At the meeting, the Director of the Agency spoke about the work carried out in our country in recent years to combat corruption, including the measures taken in this direction by the Agency, the achievements made in this regard and the shortcomings that are being made.

It was also pointed out that some responsible employees in the system do not fully understand the essence of the work being carried out in the field of combating corruption, do not pay enough attention to the requirements of the legislation in this area, which leads to their allowing corruption.

By the decision of the meeting, the heads of all system organizations were instructed to prevent corruption violations by themselves and their subordinates, as well as to report such cases that become known to them in the established manner and take appropriate measures to ensure that they perform their duties properly and in strict compliance with the requirements of current legislation.
